Natural Toothpastes / Mouthwash
Toothpaste and mouthwash are supposed to clean our teeth and oral tissue - not introduce potentially toxic ingredients and additives into our body. But some commercial ones do, with chemicals like triclosan, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfate, and diethanolamine. Fortunately, there are many alternative means of adequate dental hygiene available here, featuring natural ingredients including natural abrasives such as clay, salt, and baking soda; antibacterial agents such as neem and tea tree oil; various essential oils; and naturally sourced xylitol (which prevents bacteria from sticking to teeth).
