Suggested Usage:
Original Wholy Herbal Tea:
There are two suggested brewing methods; either:
A) Bring 2 litres of water to a boil; remove from heat and add one tea bag; cover and let sit for 6 to 8 hours; then keep refrigerated until it's all gone; drink two cups a day (either cold or at room temperature - do not reheat it). Or,
B) Make two tea bags' worth, in 4 litres (1 gallon) of boiling water, which will last one person one week. To prepare a larger quantity each time, again:
1. Bring a gallon of water to a full rolling boil.
2. Turn off the stove, drop two tea bags in your pot of water, cover, and let STEEP for at least four to eight hours. This brings the herbs to full potency.
3. It is now ready to drink, and to be refrigerated.
4. Drink two cups (2 x 250ml) per day – or more, when your body wants it. (LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. It will tell you when to make the Tea stronger! It tastes great!)
You can also mix and drink the prepared Wholy Tea with any other cold juice or tea, if you like.
The Detox & Cleanse Wholy Tea (Health Canada Natural Product Number: 80070845):
Adults: Take 1/3 of a tea bag's worth (which amounts to nearly 2 Imperial cups), once a day, at bedtime. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or health products. Allow at least 6 to 12 hours for laxative effect to occur. Take two to three times per week. If results are not observed, the frequency of use may be increased up to once daily. Consult a healthcare practitioner for continuous use beyond 7 days. To prepare this type: Brew a single teabag in 1.5 litres of boiled water for 6 to 8 hours, and then refrigerate. Drink 1/3rd of that (500 ml – two cups) per day, such that it lasts you three days.
