The Cocoa Nibs are winnowed in an FDA certified facility, free of the 8 major allergens: milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts (almonds, cashews, etc.), fish, shellfish, soy, and wheat. No solvents or other chemical substances are used in the winnowing process.
This is a GLUTEN FREE product, and has been packaged in gluten-free facilities.
Suggested Usage:
Cocoa nibs can be eaten as a snack or added to baked goods or mixed with other dishes such as granola, fruit bowls, oatmeal or cereal, for added crunch and chocolaty flavour. Or you can use a blender to liquefy them (with a little added coconut oil, if need be) and pour it into molds to make your own homemade chocolate bars without any emulsifiers and other unwanted ingredients that might be in commercial bars.
