Suggested Usage:
Standard Syrup:
Take 2 to 4 times per day,
Adults: 2 teaspoons (10 ml);
10 to 14 year-olds: 1 tsp (5 ml);
2-4 year-olds: 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml).
Bedtime Formula Syrup:
Adults (Age 19+): Take 2 tablespoons (30 ml), 30 minutes before bedtime and one or two more tablespoons during the night, if necessary.
Concentrated Organic Elderberry 5:1:
1 pipette = 20 drops = 1 ml. Recommended dosages vary by age as follows:
Adults: 60 drops (3 ml) per day;
14 to 17 years old: 48 drops (2.4 ml) per day
10 to 13 years old: 30 drops (1.5 ml) per day;
5 to 9 years old: 18 drops (0.9 ml) per day;
2 to 4 years old: 12 drops (0.6 ml) per day.
Shake bottles well before use. Refrigerate after opening. The shelf life for the unopened syrups is 4 years after the date of manufacture indicated with 4 digits on the labels (for: MM/YY).
Warnings:
For standard Syrup: Do not use while pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/ Compositae/ Daisy family. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking immunosuppressants, or if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis or multiple sclerosis. Not recommended for children less than 1 year old. Allergy alert: this product contains raw honey and other apiarian products. A hypersensitivity (e.g., an allergy) may manifest; if so, stop using.
For Bedtime syrup: see above, plus: Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a healthcare practitioner if you are allergic to bee products, poplar tree products, or balsam of Peru. Stop use if hypersensitivity/allergy occur. Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness. A diuretic effect may occur. Consult a healthcare practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia).
For Concentrated Organic Elderberry 5:1: Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a health care practitioner. A diuretic effect may occur. Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) can occur; in which case, discontinue use. Discontinue use in case of gastrointestinal upsets, such as abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
