Info: 100 ml Tincture Bottle

The white willow is native to Europe and much of Asia. Thanks to its bark's salicin content (which our bodies convert to acetylsalicylic acid, or ASA), not only is it the original inspiration for Aspirin, but it also has other types of salicylates, polyphenols and flavonoids which contribute to its pain- and inflammation-relieving abilities, and a much better safety profile than that so-called wonder drug.

Product Notes:

Like aspirin, White Willow bark can reduce the fever associated with common colds, relieve headache pain, and provide short-term pain relief for various inflammatory conditions. But it doesn't only use ASA to do so: there are many other compounds in it, as well.

As a result, it's far less likely to induce or aggravate gastrointestinal bleeding than aspirin, which has also been found to risk of brain bleeding after falls, such that it is no longer recommended as preventative maintenance for strokes for older adults.
