The herbs in St. Francis products are all either Certified Organic or Wildcrafted.
Suggested Usage:
Do not exceed recommended dosages for the Kit.
Lymphatic Cleanse: Adults: Take 5 ml (1 tsp) once each morning in a little water on an empty stomach.
Kidney Cleanse: Adults: Take 5 ml (1 tsp) once before bedtime in a little water on an empty stomach. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications.
Liver Tonic Tea: Adults: Either consume once each morning or take in divided doses throughout the day. To prepare as a single concentrated dose, pour 250-500 ml of boiling water over 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of herb, let it infuse for 20 minutes, strain, and consume as a tea, each morning. Alternatively, to take it three times per day in a less concentrated version, pour 250-500 ml of boiling water over 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of herb, let it infuse for 20 minutes, strain, and consume as a tea.
Bowel Cleanse: Adults: Mix 2 teaspoons daily with 150 ml liquid (be it water, milk, fruit juice, or a similar beverage) and take on an empty stomach. Stir briskly and drink down immediately. If you are taking other medications or health products, take this 2 hours before or after those. Effects may be observed in as little as 12 to 24 hours after the first dose, but may take 2-3 days. Be sure to maintain adequate fluid intake for this to work properly.
Warnings:
Do not use 4 Seasons Detox Kit if you:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding;
- are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family;
- have difficulty swallowing;
- have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, diabetes or edema (swelling of the hands, face or feet) or are taking other diuretic products, corticosteroids or licorice;
- have abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding or severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes;
- have experienced a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks or failure to defecate following the use of another laxative product.
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have any health condition, or are taking prescription medication, or have abdominal pain accompanied by nausea, vomiting and/or fever, or a history of kidney stones or gall stones. If symptoms persist or worsen or a laxative effect does not occur within 7 days of beginning using the kit, consult a healthcare practitioner.
If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking the powdered product, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner immediately. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heartbeat and/or difficulty breathing, from any of the products. Discontinue use if you experience diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain/cramps or persistent gas and bloating Discontinue use if you experience headache, inflammation of the eyes and throat.
