Product Notes:
Although it can be found in abundance in many foods such as eggs and organ meat and indeed is part of all living cells, we don't all eat enough of the foods that are especially rich in lecithin to keep up the supply we need
Lecithin can be thought of as a cross between two B-vitamins (choline and inositol) and an essential fatty acid (linoleic acid, which contains both Omega-6 and Omega-3), which can each play important roles in the body. (E.g., choline is a precursor of acetylcholine, which is involved in many processes including memory and learning; inositol can help control anxiety (and may even help regrow hair!); and linoleic acid may be able to help reduce blood pressure).
Lecithin is actually present in many parts of our body: not only in the sheath or protective coating that covers every nerve and muscle cell, but also in the lining of our intestines and organs (making it more difficult for fats to stick to them), and in our brain (making up 30% of its composition).
Research indicates that lecithin can improve blood lipids, reduce inflammation, and help neurological disorders in some populations; at least one study has found it can reduce LDL levels and total cholesterol levels; another found it can improve immune function in people with diabetes.
Soy lecithin also has isoflavones, which may be able to reduce vasomotor symptoms in menopausal or postmenopausal women, such as hot flashes.

Lecithin Granules (from Non-GMO Soya Oil
This non-GMO product is gluten-free, Kosher, and suitable for Vegetarians.
A typical analysis of naturally occurring phospholipids per 10 g (1.5 Tbsp) in a similar product from an alternate brand was:
2.3 g Phosphatidyl Choline
1.4 g Phosphatidyl Inositol
Suggested Usage:
As a dietary supplement, take one tablespoon (6 grams) of the granules daily, preferably with meals. Mix in juice or shakes, or sprinkle on food such as salads, cottage cheese, or yogurt, or incorporate it into recipes like pancakes or muffins.
Lecithin granules will disperse readily in water or dissolve in most oils, which makes them easy to integrate into soups, salads, cereals or juices.
