Quantum Health's TheraZinc Lozenges combine two popular immune-boosting nutrients - zinc and elderberry.
Product Notes:
Zinc is an essential mineral that works with Superoxide Dismutase, an enzyme that's the body's main antioxidant defence for controlling inflammation and is also a co-factor with 30 other essential enzymes, some which have immune functions.
The second main ingredient in two of these types, Elderberry, not only serves as a flavour (along with a great tasting natural raspberry flavour), but there's also research suggesting it can reduce the duration of flu symptoms and possibly help prevent viral influenza infections.
A third type uses Echinacea as the second main active ingredient, and two types also use Slippery Elm.
TheraZinc is now available in a throat-soothing Spray form, as well, with all those ingredients, either in a 118 ml (4 fl oz) round bottle, or a flatter 59 ml (2 fl oz) Travel Size bottle.
Canadian product labels differ slightly from the ones shown.
