Info: 60 Capsules
There are so many Hair, Skin & Nails (or 'HSN') supplements out there, it's difficult to know where to begin. Should you just take collagen, biotin, or some form of silicon or silica, or maybe a whole range of vitamins and minerals that support collagen or connective tissue or keratin production or repair, or perhaps some other nutrients to address other factors responsible for an aging appearance, such as too much sun exposure? Well, how about all of the above, in a safe and balanced dose?

There are so many Hair, Skin & Nails (or 'HSN') supplements out there, it's difficult to know where to begin. Should you just take collagen, biotin, or some form of silicon or silica, or maybe a whole range of vitamins and minerals that support collagen or connective tissue or keratin production or repair, or perhaps some other nutrients to address other factors responsible for an aging appearance, such as too much sun exposure? Product Notes:
Pure Encapsulations recognizes that there a number of aspects to an aging appearance in otherwise healthy adults, not only in its manifestations (which often occur on all three HSN fronts), but also its causes (which is predominantly due to our genetic coding being 'programmed' to produce much less of the collagen, keratin, and elastin required for healthy HSN as we age, which can be exacerbated by nutritional deficiencies impairing their production and environmental factors like sun damage and airborne pollutants increasing the need to replenish them).
Consequently, they have formulated Hair/Skin/Nails Ultra to benefit all three areas, not only with a variety of nutrients to help rebuild more collagen to improve the dryness or scaling and lines or wrinkles in the skin and improve its elasticity and to strengthen and thicken the keratin structure of the hair and nails, but also with a range of antioxidants, immune system supporters, and anti-inflammatories, to counteract the environmental damage driving some of their demand and other issues such as hair loss and premature graying or skin discoloration.
These nutrients include both collagen itself and some of its precursors or cofactors (such as copper, zinc, silicon, biotin, and Vitamin C); as well as some to 'nudge' the genes responsible for initiating more collagen and keratin synthesis in the body; some (folate, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid) to improve the skin's moisture levels; some (PABA, Vitamin B12, and Vitamin C [to improve iron absorption]) to address premature hair loss and greying; some (such as Vitamin B12 and folate) to facilitate more blood flow to the nail beds to combat ridges and discoloration; and some (such as zinc, folate, niacinamide, Vitamin C, CoQ10, and the Resveratrol naturally present in Grape Seed Extract) to promote immune function, reduce inflammation, heal cuts or scrapes and blemishes, and combat the oxidative stress caused by solar radiation.
