Precardix BP-Force is a "Bioactive Marine Peptide Concentrate" produced from the shells of prawn shrimp sourced from pristine waters in the Arctic Sea, which would otherwise go to waste after the meat was extracted to sell as food.
"Peptides" are small chains (or chemically-bonded groupings) of individual amino acids: the molecules often referred to as the building blocks of the proteins which build and repair muscles, but which also have a myriad of other functions in our bodies, including energy production and regulation, immune function, hemoglobin production, and the production of various types of neurotransmitters.
Building on research conducted by the Norwegian Institute of Fishery Science which found that two types of peptide clusters derived from arctic cold water shrimp (Pandalus borealis) are indeed bioactive because they can have an effective ACE-inhibiting effect (explained below*), its Norwegian developer, Marealis (a spin-off of Stella Polaris, one of the world's leading producers of coldwater prawns), came up with a way to isolate those peptides (phenylalanine-threonine-tyrosine and phenylalanine-serine-tyrosine) and refine them into a powder through a proprietary process of controlled enzymatic hydrolysis.
Then they carried out two clinical trials on adults with mild to moderately elevated blood pressure: the first to establish their therapeutic dose (1,200 mg, once a day) and safety [with no instances of these adverse effects sometimes associated with ACE inhibitors: dry cough, itching, edema (swelling), high potassium levels, or hypotension (low blood pressure)]; and the second study to gauge their effectiveness.
The latter was a peer-reviewed, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicentre clinical trial published in The International Journal of Hypotension in 2019, in a special issue on Nonpharmacological Approaches to Blood Pressure Regulation. It found that nearly a third experienced significant effects after just two weeks of use, and 89% experienced significant effects by the end of eight weeks, with an average improvement of 6.7 mmHg less in the systolic and 1.7 mmHg in diastolic blood pressure, compared to baseline.
* ACE Inhibitors
Ace inhibitors are medications which throttle back the extent to which a certain enzyme converts one type of factor that's circulating in our blood (called Angiotensin 1) to a variation of it which causes sodium and fluid retention and narrows the arteries (which all increase BP). Inhibiting the over-production of Angiotensin 2 levels can help keep BP within the normal range, and also helps protect the kidneys and reduces the risk of developing swelling (edema) in the lower body.

Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take two tablets once daily, preferably away from food (i.e., about one hour before or two hours after eating). It's important to take both tablets at once to produce the desired effect.
