OPUS - Annual Water Filter Replacement Kits

Unfortunately, due to their size and weight, OPUS water filters and water systems do not qualify for free shipping; our Shipping Department will follow-up with a quote before proceeding with the order.

Please note, as of June, 2024, we have updated both our systems and their annual filter kits to make certain substitutions for other types of filters with equivalent functions.

In particular, the 3 LB KDF-55 / 0.6 LB GAC Cartridge Filter (store code 9395: the heaviest one that looks like it's half full of sand, when in a transparent housing), has become prohibitively expensive to keep renewing, so all the systems which used it are now advised to use a 1 Micron Catalytic Carbon Block filter (store code 10616) in its place to remove chlorine (as well as chloramines) and other contaminants, instead. Our webpages for the updated systems also have the latest installation documents detailing the sequence for flushing the replacement filters.

Another change that might affect those with NANO systems and its variants is that those filters have been redesigned to place the stems for both the input and output connectors on the same (input) end. Depending on how your unit is situated under the sink, this could mean that the final piece of flexible tubing that you've been using to connect the Nanofilter's output to the drinking faucet may not be long enough, but it's more likely that it will now be longer than necessary, but as long as the excess tubing can be curved gently rather than getting crimped up, it should be fine - otherwise, you may need to shorten it by about eight inches.
