Product Notes:
* Panax is also known as 'Korean Red,' 'Asian', or 'Chinese' Ginseng - all names for the same type of plant, which is distinct from Siberian Ginseng (which has similarly shaped roots but somewhat different properties).
Korean Red Ginseng has also been used to help enhance physical capacity/performance - or at least to help people tolerate the stresses that exercise can place on the body by decreasing oxidative damage - and to boost energy. A recent review found that it's among several types that can significantly reduce post-exercise muscle damage and improve muscle regeneration and recovery after physical exercise in healthy adults.
Red-Ginseng also has a long history of use as supportive therapy to promote healthy glucose levels. And in Traditional Chinese Medicine, it has been used to relieve inappropriate symptoms of thirst due to impairment of body fluids and internal heat.
