ZMA is a combination of two minerals (Zinc and Magnesium, both in a more absorbable chelated Aspartate form) plus one vitamin (B6) that work together to help athletes recover from exercise.
Product Notes:
Zinc and magnesium both tend to get depleted with physical activity due to their multiple roles (repairing tissue, maintaining a healthy immune system, and regulating cellular growth, for zinc; and maintaining normal neuromuscular function, electrolyte balance, and energy production for magnesium).
Vitamin B-6 is needed to metabolize nutrients and amino acids to produce energy and rebuild muscles.

Each capsule contains:
Vitamin B-6 (from Pyridoxine Hydrochloride): 5 mg
Zinc (from Zinc Mono-L-Methionine and Zinc Aspartate): 10 mg
Magnesium (from Magnesium Aspartate): 150 mg
Non-medicinal ingredients: Capsule (gelatin, water), Rice Flour, Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source).
This product is not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients, but produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
Suggested Usage:
Take the dosages listed below, 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime, on an empty stomach. For best results, avoid taking with dairy or other calcium-containing foods or supplements.
Men: take 3 capsules daily;
Women: take 2 capsules daily.
Store in a cool, dry place after opening.
Warnings:
Keep out of reach of children; for adults only. Do not take over recommended dosage. Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to using NOW ZMA if you are taking antibiotics, calcium channel blockers, diuretics, beta-2 agonists, heart medications such as digoxin, or if you have reduced kidney function. May cause nausea, gastrointestinal irritation and diarrhea.
