Product Notes:
Cardiovascular Support - NKO helps support healthy triglyceride and LDL cholesterol levels
You've heard about the virtues of nutritional oils and so you may be seeking something with good essential fatty acid (EFA) content, but – which kind, and from what source? Some sort of plant seed oil such as flax or hemp, or should it be a fish oil, or perhaps shellfish? If you're not a strict vegetarian, a good case can be made for the latter: specifically, for Neptune Krill Oil (NKO), which is sourced from the tiny shrimp-like crustaceans that whales feed on in Antarctic waters.
A recent study found that after a month of use, Krill oil can raise EPA levels in your cells by about a third more than fish oil.
In addition to supporting cognitive function and cardiovascular function (keeping healthy blood lipid levels within the normal range, for example), clinical studies have shown that NKO can support joint mobility by fighting inflammation, and may even reduce the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome.
100% Pure - NOW Foods NKO also contains all-trans retinol vitamin A and natural vitamin E and is a rich source of the carotenoid Astaxanthin, a powerful immune-supporting antioxidant.
Latest product label may vary slightly from the one shown. This product is also marketed simply as NOW Krill Oil.
