Product Notes:
L-OptiZinc is a patented form of zinc complexed with the amino acid l-methionine; research has demonstrated this type to be better absorbed and retained longer compared to several other forms of zinc tested. Copper has also been added, to offset the chance of a copper deficiency (since zinc supplements can interfere with copper absorption).
This product was previously marketed as NOW Opti L-Zinc.
Ingredients:
Each capsule contains:
30 mg Zinc (from L-OptiZinc) (Zinc Monomethionine)
300 mcg Copper (Copper (II) HVP chelate)
Non-medicinal ingredients: Rice Flour, Gelatin (capsule) and Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source).
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take one capsule, with food, a few hours before or after taking any other medications.
