Scientific research has shown that the active ingredient in turmeric root (curcumin) not only has anti-inflammatory properties, but it's also an antioxidant, which can prevent some malignant cells from spreading and is particularly good at scavenging nitric acid (which some people might accidentally inhale while working with fertilizer or its containers).
This product was previously known as NOW High Potency Curcumin Complex.

Each capsule contains:
Turmeric Root Extract (Curcuma longa): 665 mg, providing:
630 mg in Total Curcuminoids, consisting of:
- 498 mg Curcumin
- 99 mg Demethoxycurcumin
- 33 mg Bisdemethoxycurcumin.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Veg. Capsule (hypromellose, water), Calcium Laurate, Silica.
Free of: Sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, egg or preservatives.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 1 capsule 3 times daily.
Warnings:
Consult a health care practitioner prior to using curcumin if you are pregnant or have gallstones; or if you have a bile duct obstruction, stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid; or if you are taking antiplatelet medication or blood thinners.
