To expedite your body's own natural healing process, Infla-Heal contains a variety of specialized enzymes to not only help prevent inflammation and damaged tissues in the GI tract that might be due to food sensitivities or digestive problems, but also to help eliminate the dead or damaged tissues underlying inflammation in other parts of the body following sprains, strains, injuries (including bruises and hematomas), or surgery. It may also help with inflammatory conditions like arthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, and thrombophlebitis.
There are a number of enzymes in this formulation drawn from both plant and animal sources which disable certain macromolecular components which arise as inflammation increases, as well as ingredients with antioxidant properties which help remove free radicals that get produced during the course of both chronic and acute inflammation.
When taken no more than an hour after your meal, these enzymes help digest fats, proteins and carbohydrates in the small intestine, which helps keep the intestines healthy (by avoiding repeated bouts of inflammation, which can cause major tissue damage) and reduce the chances of certain foods causing an upset stomach.
Trypsin is one of the major enzymatic ingredients, here: a proteolytic enzyme or proteinase that transforms dietary protein molecules back into their constituents (amino acids and peptides). Lipase is another; it breaks down fats, and Amylase breaks down carbohydrates.
The papain from papaya and bromelain from pineapple are also both potent digestants; these complex enzymes have been combined to make them more resistant to being degraded in the digestive tract so they can proceed to the bloodstream to be transported to clean out swollen tissues in other areas. Bromelain can also help dampen inflammation and shorten recovery time in another way: by blocking the formation of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins. It can even help reduce excessive blood clotting that might be due to inflammation.
Serratiopeptidase, also known as Serrapeptase, rounds out the list of this formulation's enzymes; you might think of it as a Pacman that travels throughout the body to hunt out and consume dead tissue.
On the antioxidant front, Infla-Heal Plus includes Rutin, a bioflavonoid sourced from Eucalyptus trees which also has potent anti-inflammatory properties; L-Cysteine, a sulfur-containing amino acid related to NAC, which helps produce glutathione, our bodies' 'Master' antioxidant; and Zinc, which also serves as a cofactor for many enzymes in our bodies related to immune function and keeping chronic inflammation under control.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Vegetable magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide in a non‑GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.
Contains no sugar, starch, yeast, rice, corn, milk products, gluten, preservatives, artificial colours or flavours.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 1 capsule two to four times daily with food, or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Swallow whole -- do not crush or chew.
If you are taking other medications, take this product a few hours before or after them. Use the smallest dose to control the symptoms.
For swelling and pain reduction: Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 7 days.
For the reduction of ear, nose, and throat infections, or as a mucolytic enzyme: Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.
Warnings:
Do not use New Roots' InflaHeal Plus you are pregnant or breastfeeding; or if you are taking blood thinning medication, antibiotics, or sedatives; or if you are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes or to pork proteins.
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have cystinuria, diabetes, pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency or cystic fibrosis, or a gastrointestinal lesion/ulcer; or if you are taking an anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory agents, antibiotics, other enzyme products, or nitroglycerin; or if you are having surgery; or if you have an allergy to latex or fruits (such as avocado, banana, chestnut, passion fruit, fig, melon, mango, kiwi, pineapple, peach, and tomato).
Hypersensitivity/allergy, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain/epigastria pain and/or heartburn and diarrhoea have been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner.
