Product Notes:

Help Reduce Your Cold Symptoms

Not all probiotics are the same - and their impact on health can be highly strain specific. Now you can choose more targeted relief with UltraFlora Cold Support, featuring a clinically studied probiotic blend shown to reduce the duration and severity of symptoms associated with the common cold.

It might at first seem a bit counter-intuitive to take probiotics for colds, but think about it: not everyone contracts a cold, even when it's going around your workplace, and the ones that do may have a relatively weaker immune system. Probiotics can help the immune system by enabling you to digest and absorb nutrients more effectively. Similarly, the immune system draws on nutrients to do its work in battling colds or other illnesses, so it makes sense to take probiotics to help make more nutrients available to it. That's why Health Canada has approved this product to help reduce the number and/or severity of symptoms associated with the common cold.

This combination has also been shown to be able to help reduce the number of attacks of a relatively rare autoinflammatory condition that mainly affects children called PFAPA syndrome (short for: Periodic Fever, Aphthous stomatitis, Pharyngitis, and Adenitis).
