Minor joint pain (the sort causing discomfort but not requiring immediate medical attention, as it would if accompanied by a fever or showing definite swelling, warmth, and redness or even red streaks leading from the joint), is a common nuisance with a variety of causes, including overuse and overexertion. When it's brought on suddenly by activities, you should of course follow sensible medical advice about when and how it is appropriate to: rest or favour the joint for a day or two; apply ice or heat to the affected area; and do gentle stretches or exercises to improve joint function. But you'll also most likely want some pain relief so you can go about your usual business without being too irritable or distracted by it. Unfortunately, the usual standbys, over-the-counter pain meds like Aspirin, Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen, can all have serious side effects which these ingredients avoid.
Pain-FX Joint Formula Ingredients:
Each veg. capsule contains:
120 mg White Willow Bark Extract (Salix alba – young branch bark), standardized to 50% Salicin
150 mg Boswellia Extract (Boswellia serrata stem bark oleogum resin), standardized to 65% boswellic acid
100 mg Curcumin (Curcuma longa – rhizome)
Non-medicinal ingredients: Vegetable Capsule Shell (Hypromellose), Oryza sativa (Rice) hull powder, Silicon dioxide.
This is a gluten-free product that's also suitable for vegans. All ingredients are NON-GMO.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 1 capsule with water, at the onset of pain, one to two times per day. Consult a healthcare practitioner for prolonged use.
Warnings:
Keep bottle out of reach of children. Do not use Pain-FX if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other salicylates. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have asthma, peptic ulcer disease, gallstones, bile duct obstruction, stomach ulcers, excess stomach acid; or if you are taking anticoagulants or products containing acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other salicylates, antiplatelet medication or blood thinners; or if you have had recent surgery or have upcoming surgery. Stop use if you develop diarrhea, abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea, or vomiting. Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
