To carry out its main purpose of reducing the inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract lining and repairing and protecting its lining, Gut-FX supplies ample doses of L‐Glutamine (an amino acid which serves as the primary building block for the intestinal walls) along with N‐Acetyl‐Glucosamine (aka NAG - a naturally occurring amino sugar which helps that rebuilding by increasing the blood flow to the digestive tract, which brings more oxygen and nutrients there to assist in that process).
Also included are three types of demulcents to provide a soothing and protective film on the mucous membrane on the inside of that lining: Aloe Vera Leaf Gel, Slippery Elm Bark, and Marshmallow Root.
But it doesn't stop there: unlike some comparable formulations which only focus on the intestinal lining, Healthology GUT‐FX also includes two types of probiotics to help rebalance the composition of the gut flora in the GI tract which may be aggravating this problem: one (LA‐14) proven to be able to survive the passage through the stomach to be able to successfully colonize the small intestine; the other (B‐04) targeted at the large intestine.

Suggested Usage:
Adults: Mix 1 teaspoon (6g) with water or juice before use, and drink once daily. Take a few hours before or after any other medications or natural health products (if applicable), and at least 2 to 3 hours before or after antibiotics. Maintain adequate fluid intake throughout the day.
Most users should begin to feel beneficial results within the first two weeks of use, although it may take longer for very chronic conditions.
