Although mangos may have originated in and are still most strongly associated with India, they are also grown in many other parts of the world, nowadays – often (as here) from a naturally disease-resistant and delicious type of cultivar called "Haden." Product Notes:
Aside from simply tasting yummy, mangoes have a number of health benefits. They're high in antioxidants and fiber, full of vitamins and minerals (including vitamin C, beta-carotene, and folate), and can help digestion (and regularity) and vision, and may even help reduce inflammation (due to their polyphenols content), among other things.
To produce these long-lasting, well-preserved dehydrated slices without sacrificing their natural sweetness, nutritional value, or great taste, the producers first slice the fresh fruit very thinly and then use a unique cold-drying process, without needing to resort to irradiation, high heat, or preservatives.
Ingredients:
Haden Mango.
Certified USDA Organic. Raw, Gluten-free, Non-GMO. Contains no sulphites or added sugar or indeed any other additives.
Suggested Usage:
You can enjoy them as-is right out of the bag, as a snack. Or cut some up and use them in your cake or muffin recipes; or incorporate them into salads, sauces, or other dishes.
