Q: What's the difference between magnesium glycinate and magnesium bisglycinate?
A: Bisglycinate and glycinate are exactly the same thing. The product manufacturer generally prefers the term bisglycinate, as in their opinion it more accurately describes the product. However, a number of supplement brands simply choose to label product using the term glycinate instead of bisglycinate.
Ingredients:
Each capsule contains:
Magnesium (Magnesium bisglycinate)...120 mg
Vitamin C (from 10 mg Ascorbyl Palmitate)...4.3 mg
Non-medicinal ingredients: Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, Purified Water.
Suggested Usage:
Take 1 to 4 capsules daily, in divided doses, with meals. Store sealed in a cool, dry area.
Warnings:
Keep Magnesium Glycinate out of reach of children. Consult a physician before use if you are pregnant or nursing. At doses greater than or equal to 351 mg per day of magnesium, some people may experience diarrhea.
