Product Notes:
Quickly and cleanly is the best way to core an apple, and the FreshForce Apple Corer is the tool for the job. Its angled tip enables the skin of the apple to be easily pierced, avoiding unnecessary bruising. You only need to line up the corer with the top of the apple and press down; the core will slide out smoothly, letting you enjoy the apple without problems. This tool also smartly doubles as a peeler, giving the tool the extra edge in efficiency. This will help you make that apple pie faster, make that apple crumble faster. Nobody wants core in their apple pie! This will do the trick! Dimensions: 9-3/4 inches long, altogether, including the 3-1/2 inch long combination peeling blade and corer head.
The Palmpeeler Vegetable Peeler is absolutely ideal for taking the peels off fresh fruits or vegetables. This cleverly designed device features a ring on its top which you slide your middle finger into (it will expand to accommodates any size finger) to grip it, and the rest fits snugly into your palm. They have a sharp 18/10 stainless steel blade to effortlessly take off the peel with very little effort. The body is made of durable, BPA-free plastic, and the whole thing can be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher, if desired.
Our one remaining original more square-shaped Palmpeeler model has a Serrated blade, which is a great safe peeler not only for fruit with a fairly thick skin, such as mangoes or kiwis, but also for fruits with tougher exteriors.
The more conventional Scalpel blade option, which is on the newer, rounder model, is meant for fruits or vegetable like apples and potatoes -- fruits with less thick skin. Both options have built-in potato eyer (the triangle above the blade), to dig out those eyes and blemishes on your fresh food.
The new version of the Palmpeeler has a slightly larger, rounder, and more ergonomic design, and now has a stainless steel loop for removing blemishes or potato eyes. It also comes with a much larger blade guard than the original models were equipped with - this one's encompasses the whole bottom.
