Product Notes:
Adrenal Gland & Adaptogens - Located atop the kidneys, the adrenal glands are key in dealing with stress by the release of hormones such as adrenaline and noradrenaline. Regulating the release of these hormones can aid in stress relief.
Ortho Adapt Ingredients:
Per capsule:
Porcine Adrenal Gland Cortex (Sus scrofa): 125 mg
Vitamin C: 125 mg
Pantothenic acid (Pantethine, Calcium D-Pantothenate): 50 mg
Licorice extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra, DHE: 450-750 mg, 25% glycyrrhizin): 200 mg
Siberian ginseng extract (Eleutherococcus senticosus 10:1, DHE: 500 mg): 50 mg
Rhodiola rosea extract (3% rosavins, 1% salidroside): 37.5 mg
Ashwagandha extract* (Withania somnifera 10:1, DHE: 500 mg): 200 mg
* Typically 2.5% withanolides, 0.1% sitoindosides.
Non-medicinal ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium stearyl fumarate, silicon dioxide, dextrin. / Capsule: hypromellose.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take two to four capsules daily after a meal, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond one month.
Warnings:
Do not use AOR OrthoAdapt if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance, or if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, a kidney or cardiovascular disorder or bipolar spectrum disorder.
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking antidepressant medications, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or birth control pills, if you have any type of acute infection, liver disorder or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
Headaches, mild gastrointestinal disturbances (such as nausea), heart palpitations, or hyperactivity/insomnia may occur.
Consuming ashwagandha with alcohol, other drugs or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended.
