NAC (N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine) is derived from the amino acid L-cysteine and is a powerful compound that helps to relieve the symptoms of chronic bronchitis (due to its abilities to dissolve thick mucus and decrease the formation of biofilms, which can reduce bacterial infections) and also helps protect cells from damage from oxidative stress.

Product Notes:
N-A-C is also the precursor to the antioxidant glutathione (GSH) which plays a vital role in maintaining a healthy immune system, detoxifying the liver, boosting lung health, as well as contributing to overall longevity.
While cells in our body do not absorb preformed supplemented GSH efficiently, our body has no trouble converting supplemented NAC into GSH for optimal utilization.
