Heel Spur and Plantar Fasciitis - kybun Therapy

"Dr. kybun-Joya" on Heel Spur and Plantar Fasciitis

A heel spur is a bony outgrowth in the heel area which can cause irritation and be very painful as well as causing persistent inflammation of the tendon plate on the sole of the foot. Plantar fasciitis is the term used for inflammation of this tendon plate. The heel spur and planter fasciitis can occur together as well as separately .

The constant impact of the heel on hard flat ground leads to incorrect and excessive strain on this tendon plate which can then become inflamed. To protect this tendon plate from overloading, the body builds up a bony reinforcement similar to the formation of a callus which is supposed to protect the delicate skin. The heel spur then develops.

However, it is not the spur itself that triggers the pain but the inflammation that never really subsides due to the continuous heel impact.

Conventional measures are orthopedic insoles, heel pads or physiotherapeutic treatments. As these measures all fail to prevent heel impact, they usually only offer short-term relief.

Wearing kybun or Joya shoes, on the other hand, stops pain in the vast majority of cases quickly and sustainably, thanks to the gentle rolling motion of the elastic springy sole which stops the constant irritation quickly and also eliminates the cause of the painful heel spur and plantar fasciitis.

Experience pain-free walking again thanks to kybun and Joya shoes, and try them out for yourself in one of our shops.

Choose therapy over surgery, and your heels will always be grateful.
